CIRCLE DESCRIPTION
If you are in Production Management communication is your super power. How you interact with your crew, with your peers, with your bosses; how you chat on slack, email an executive, send notes to a foreign vendor; all of these are critical examples of communication that we are faced with each day on a production, whether we are working in-studio or remotely.Â
This circle will examine various aspects of professional communication in production management to help you understand context, and be able to communicate more effectively, especially in stressful, or about sensitive topics. Communication with sincerity and integrity, along with your personality, humor, and unique perspective, all define your personal communication style. Listening for understanding will help you connect with your crew, and strengthen your personal knowledge.Â
We will discuss real-world situations in both group discussions and one-on-one meetings. Talking about talking, listening about listening, and all to help you be the team player that folks want to work with again and again on their next animated project.Â
