CIRCLE DESCRIPTION

Breaking into the 3D modeling world can feel overwhelming—especially if you’re introverted or unsure how to put yourself out there. Whether you’re a student, an international applicant, or just starting to build your portfolio, this circle is designed to help you take meaningful, manageable steps toward your first job in the industry.
We’ll focus on both technical skills and personal strategies—so you can grow your 3D modeling portfolio and your confidence in professional spaces. This circle is especially supportive for artists who may feel nervous about networking or who are navigating the additional challenge of job hunting as an international student.

By the end of the term, you’ll:

  • Understand what makes a strong 3D modeling portfolio, including how to showcase your best work and avoid common mistakes
  • Learn practical networking strategies for introverts, with tips for starting conversations, following up, and building authentic relationships in a way that feels doable
  • Explore the job application process from an international perspective, including common hurdles and helpful resources for working in the U.S.
  • Gain clarity on where you fit in the 3D pipeline, and how to identify roles that align with your strengths and goals
  • Build confidence in your professional identity, even if you’re not the loudest person in the room

This circle is a supportive space for thoughtful, talented artists who are ready to break in—on their own terms.
