CIRCLE DESCRIPTION
Coming up with the idea for an animated feature film can sometimes be the easy part, but then putting together the right team, a great pitch package, securing an animation studio partner, finance & distribution can be very daunting and challenging.
In this circle weâll talk about how to take those first steps from initial concept through to the start of production, in the independent animation feature space.
This circle is for professionals at mid or upper level of their career, and we will talk about how to put an animated feature film together from a Producer perspective. You don’t need to have a specific project in mind, just be interested in the process.
We will have in depth discussions on how to put together a pitch package, how to approach animation studio partners, sales, finance & distribution partners & what to expect. And of course, the path to getting the film greenlit.
This is not a pitching circle where you will pitch your ideas to me. Your own ideas can be used as examples in the context of discussions, but the idea is that you leave the circle feeling you have the tools required to put together your own pitch and then move forward with that to studios, sales, distribution, financiers etc.
