CIRCLE DESCRIPTION

This circle is for those producers and professionals who would like to learn more about Kids and Family content distribution and those who want to explore pivoting or starting in distribution. And if you are a Producer who seeks continuing professional development, and would like to understand the role and challenges of your distribution partners – this is also for you!

This circle will help you to understand the dynamics of content distribution and the current challenges in Kids and Family entertainment, especially within the current global context. With the help of case studies we will go through different scenarios, including format, rights format, country of origins etc.

At the end of the circle you will gain understanding of the acquisition criteria of platforms, how to structure a global strategy, and have deep insights into rights licensing from a global level to a local one, as well as the differences between co-productions, pre-sales and sales.
