CIRCLE DESCRIPTION
Do you have a project, or the beginnings of a project, and dream of pitching it to buyers? This circle is the place for you! Join us as we explore the art of the pitch as a group.Â
In this circle, you will learn:
- How to develop an idea into a well thought out pitch
- How to build a pitch deck
- How to communicate with development execs
- What happens in the room
- How to navigate the twists and turns of the development process
You will receive a behind-the-curtains look into my history of pitching multiple projects to major outlets, having three projects optioned for development, and my perspective from the other side of the table working with the development team at Netflix Series Animation. We’ll also work on YOUR pitches; workshopping them together, making them better, and helping you prepare for your big opportunity.

Alan Foreman
Alan Foreman is an Emmy Award winning Director, Producer, and Animator with over 23 years of experience in animation production. Since graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design’s Film, Animation, and Video department, Alan has held pivotal roles on productions for Adult Swim, Nickelodeon, Nicktoons Network, Nick Jr., PBS, and Sesame Workshop. In addition to his work in broadcast animation, Alan’s skill and visual style has attracted freelance clients such as Buck, Hornet Inc., Psyop, Blacklist, Augenblick Studios, TED Conference, and TED Ed. His personal work has screened in film festivals across the globe and earned him development deals with both Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. Most recently, Alan Directed Baby Shark’s Big Movie for Nickelodeon and Paramount Plus. Alan currently works and resides in Los Angeles, CA.
